I'm sick of getting bent over by draws-I don't play much soccer, but the %age that I've lost on them would blow your mind.

2 way or no way

It all depends on what kind of bettor you are though... Are you looking for high limits, many leagues offered, early lines etc?

betfair's handicaps have become very competitive and with a high liquidity too, but i second what duck said.

The only problem I have with Betfair is their ridiculously high commission which makes it almost impossible to find the best price there. Say Betfair have 1.99 on each side: The 5% on net win makes it effectively 1.94 on the side you take: I almost guarantee that you can find a better price at one of the books I mentioned at any given time.

Of course, if you wager a lot (!) at Betfair your commission % will get lower but I for one prefer Mansion where the commission is either 0 or 1% of net win.

Sportingbet has "Draw No Bet" for just about every match. It can be found on the drop down for each match.

If you are trying to find value, you will have a tough time doing it if you are playing at a book that doesn't have asian handicaps. Tinco, I think you are pretty much a US sport better so I would also suggest Pinny and Mansion. 5dimes is good for some of the lower tier leagues(regionaliga),but limits are usually $250.

We 've gone over this again and i share your sentiments, BUT, currently, and it's been this way for some time, their asian handicap commision is only 1%(for all with no discounts), they figured out they was no way they could compete on this market with their typical 5%, which is obvious because you are bookmaking at a 5% margin, aka juice for our american friends, you can't be expected to cough up another 5% "pimping" fee for the exchange to host your bet, they worked this out, took some time, because none of their ah markets were moving, how could they? One has to keep track of very fast moving low margin market AND find a way to fit in the 5% commision, you cant.

But now with the 1% thing they have indeed become very competitive. Sad thing is, and i ve said it again, unless they get some real competition, which they might never actually...but that's another and long story, from other exchanges, and not bookmakers, they ll just offer the pain in the ass 3-5%.

That low? Makes a lot of sense they why they keep such off lines sometimes...

Great, I wasn't aware of that! Then I'll have to add Betfair to my portfolio again!

You find the 1% commission also in the "Toatal goals market" so you can also pick a over/under (whre commision is 5% or elss) with low commission...the problem is there's not such a liquidity as in the normal 1x2 or o/u market (read it as many money in these market but not at 100-100 percentage...you find only big amount to lay/back at higher/lower odds than what you can find playing in every asian bookie)
And i'm searching for an answer about that...why put a odds in a market with 5% commission when you can have 1%?

A question for Duck, what limits do you have on bet365?
I have ridicolous ones here (also in usa sports...and this is very strange...could be a good way for them to have their money back ;-)

I think that is the standard limit on the second tier games, or they adjusted mine, but I don't think so? I don't play 5 dimes very often but almost everytime I do I forget my limit and the wager gets rejected.:Sad Face: <!-- / message -->

have they got a casino, it seems their aim is for the average joe to get some cash over there for an off line (sometimes they even have single action (i.e. odds on just one event) at a higher than average price) and have them blow it away on their american market.

The american market stuff at 5dimes is not very competitive, but every once in a while they fall a sleep. Yesterday they were off by a full point on a College bball game.
